Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end. Can you please record and share a screencast while replicating the issue? You can use a tool like https://loom.com/ to record and share a screencast
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello, thank you very much for your prompt reply, you know what? I have checked again today and now the redirect is running correctly, however the route changes for some reason.
I would like to fix this so I don’t have the same problem again.
Here you can see the video capture: https://youtu.be/8DP5ogB5bvo
Thank you so much
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I checked and was able to replicate the issue on your site. However, it changes the source URL in the redirection settings, the URL is still being redirected to the correct destination URL.
I have forwarded this issue to the devs and will get back to you soon with an update.
We really appreciate your patience in the meantime. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
Sure, I would like to know if it has been solved as soon as you have an answer.
Thank you very much
Hello,
We found the issue with this particular case and it’s related to the fact that the URL of your website has the language identifier es
that gets removed automatically from the source URL.
Unfortunately, since the word hoteles
also ends with that same identifier the regex runs again and removes that from the redirection.
This is just something visual on your website and when we run the redirection our plugin can interpret this perfectly.
We are going to note this down for improvement and we’ll see what additional checks we need to introduce in the future to prevent this kind of situation.
Rest assured that the redirections will always work as intended but are just indicated wrongly in the table.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
