TTFB is usually something your web host can help you with.
We only create the redirects and the method we use is the fastest one around and even the redirect response time depends on your web host’s resources available for your website.
You can try creating a redirect using .htaccess and see if that is any faster than the one offered by Rank Math.

To improve the TTFB on your website you can’t just add a rule in your .htaccess to fix that. It requires that you have enough resources on your server to load your website fast the first time someone makes a call to it.
Something that might help is setting up some caching in your .htaccess file, but that is not a “magic” fix and you may already be limited by your server resources.
If you want to improve caching on your website via that file, you should contact your hosting provider or hire a professional to create some rules for your website.
