Hi there, I wonder if you have a feature like Yoast does about the 300 word limit in a paragraph text before it needs to be seperated with a subheader? can’t find it. Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Yes, Rank Math analyzes your content and notifies you if any of your paragraphs exceeded the recommended limit. However, the limit we have is 120 words in your paragraphs.

If it finds one or more paragraphs with more than 120 words, this test will fail.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Okay got it. But that’s a little bit different from breaking the text up with subheader? Which was the exact question I was thinking about. This article explains it: https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/optimize-headings-to-boost-readability/

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we don’t have this type of test. However, we have a similar one that checks if your paragraph is too long as mentioned previously by my colleague. The big difference is we don’t have a tip for the users to separate a long paragraph using subheaders as we already have a different test about it.

    Please check my screenshot here:

Please refer to this guide as well: https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/#use-of-short-paragraphs

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
