Hmm If you have a look at it now after I did some changes on some posts it shows 0 images again on most posts: https://www.alexasia.de/post-sitemap.xml
Or do I just need to wait a little bit longer for the images to be included?
When I looked at the sitemap this morning it showed 0 images on just a few posts as you said but now almost for every post.

You seem to be using a page builder to add those images that can’t be added to the sitemap.
We have added API access to the content analysis in the Rank Math plugin to make content (including images) from page builder plugins readable by Rank Math.
You would need to contact the developer of the plugin you mentioned by showing the following link:

P.S: On another look, it seems you are using the Themify builder which is supposed to be compatible with Rank Math. Can you please get in touch with your developer and ask them if they changed anything recently that would make the images not readable by Rank Math for addition to the sitemaps?

Hi,
Compatibility with Rank Math plugin has been fixed; and we have added integration with its Sitemap feature so that it will count the images in Builder content properly. These will be available the next time you update the theme.

Do I need to do anything so rank math includes all images or do I just have to wait?

We are glad to hear the integration part is fixed.
To force the sitemaps to update, you can follow the following steps:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt
2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server.
That should fix the issue. Please let us know if that does not. We are here to assist.
