Google SEO crash

I’m curious as to your general advice on this.

I’ve 2 key pages on my site https://www.nlp-techniques.org/ the home page https://www.nlp-techniques.org/ (key, key word NLP techniques) and another page https://www.nlp-techniques.org/what-is-nlp/ (key, key word NLP) Both used to be on the first page of Google for their specific keywords, about a week ago both pages are still indexed by Google but their keyword ranking has crashed to nowhere. The daily page hits for the whole site have dropped from 500 a day to 200 a day.

The Rankmath score for the pages are 85 and 82, not brilliant, but not bad either. I’m not aware of changing the site significantly recently.

I’m lucky in that I can take a long term view on this, but I’m curious if you have a systematic approach to what I should look out for?

    Hello Michael,

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Sorry for the late reply. Seems your post got stuck in the spam queue due to the use of multiple links in your post.

We have replied to your other ticket about the same issue.

There was a huge Google update recently that might be the reason for a drop in rankings:

Thanks, appreciate the input. The curious thing is is that I have pages with almost no contect ranking higher than the original pages. (for those keywords.)

I’ll leave it another month and then rewrite the content for those pages,

    Thanks again,

    Michael
