RankMath Pro Account & Snippet Editor Issue

    Hi RankMath Support,

    We’ve recently inherited a WordPress website built by another agency, which has RankMath Pro installed.

    We’ve recently noticed the following message below the snippet editor in the CMS:
    “Activate your account by connecting to Rank Math!”

    Additionally, when an editor opens the Preview Snippet Editor and edits the Excerpt, the changes do not save after clicking Update on the page.

    Could this issue be related to the previous agency’s account no longer being connected to RankMath Pro? Would we need to set up a new RankMath Pro account to restore this functionality?

    To resolve this, you will need to disconnect the current account and reconnect it using the correct Rank Math account that has an active Pro subscription. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help.
    2. Click on Disconnect Account.
      Disconnect Account
    3. After disconnecting, click on Connect Now to reconnect your Rank Math account.
      Click Connect Now
    4. Ensure you select the correct account associated with your Rank Math Pro license and click OK, ACTIVATE NOW.
      Activate Rank Math PRO Subscription

    Once your website is successfully connected, you should be able to use the Snippet Editor without issues. If you continue to experience problems with saving changes in the Preview Snippet Editor after reconnecting, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so we can assist you further.
