Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with Bing showing only two URLs in your submitted sitemap. This can happen for a few reasons:
-
Custom Canonicals: If you have added custom canonical URLs to your posts, those posts may not appear in the sitemap. Rank Math includes a self-referencing canonical for all posts set to Index, and if a custom canonical is present, it will be excluded from the sitemap. To ensure all your posts are included, consider removing any custom canonicals.
-
Sitemap Configuration: Make sure that your sitemap is correctly configured in Rank Math. You can check this by going to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings and ensuring that all post types you want to include are enabled.
-
Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math and affect the sitemap generation. You can use the Health Check plugin to check for any conflicts.
-
Robots.txt File: Ensure that your robots.txt file is not blocking any URLs from being indexed. You can check this in Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.
If you have already tried adding code to exclude the homepage from the posts sitemap, please ensure that it hasn’t inadvertently affected other URLs.
If these suggestions do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!
