How can I reset all Rank Math settings including all the SEO details? Yoast works fine so I want to try a complete reset 🙂
I already tried to add this code to the theme functions.php:
/**
* Filter to remove Rank Math data from the database
*/
add_filter( 'rank_math_clear_data_on_uninstall', '__return_true' );
It looks like all the setting are gone, but this won’t reset the SEO details/settings/robots meta data.
When I click on “V As NoIndex” it changed in “As NoIndex”. When I refreshed the page it changed back in “V As NoIndex”. The meta tag shows:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow"/>

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Please let us know if you find the culprit.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Thank you for the reply. I have discovered that the problem only occurs with the Woocommerce pages: cart, checkout and myaccount. There is more to read about this problem on this forum, but there is still no good solution. It would be nice if the “Index” option is greyed out for these pages. Then it is clear that these settings cannot be adjusted. 👍

Yes, you are right, by default those pages are set always as no-index to avoid issues with Google. I will send that suggestion to the dev team so they might grey out those pages, thank you!
