  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your site name not appearing correctly in Google search results. Here are some steps you can take to help resolve this:

    1. Set Your Site Name in Rank Math

Make sure you have set your site name correctly in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Local SEO and filling in the Website Name field.

    2. Add a Site Name to Your Homepage Meta Title

Ensure that your homepage meta title includes your site name. You can refer to this guide on how to set a homepage meta title and description using Rank Math.

    3. Request Google to Reindex Your Homepage

After making changes, it may take some time for Google to reflect them. You can speed up the process by requesting Google to reindex your homepage:

    Click Request Indexing

    4. Check Open Graph Metadata

Ensure that your Open Graph metadata is set up correctly, as it helps social media platforms and search engines understand your content better. This is automatically handled by Rank Math, so you should be covered here.

    5. Analytics Data Not Showing

If your analytics data is not showing, please ensure that you have connected your Google Analytics account properly within Rank Math. You can check this under Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Analytics.

If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, please reply to this ticket with your site URL, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

MY site still appears on google as a url and not the actual site name.

Please note that there are various sources that Google uses to define your site name on SERPs including:

    • og:site_name meta tag
    • WebSite structured data
    • Content in title elements
    • Heading elements

Among them, Rank Math automatically includes the og:site_name meta tag and the WebSite Schema on your website, and the rest you’ll have to include manually.

However, as is mentioned in the Google documentation, this process is automated by the algorithm and even though it takes into account the information on the website, it is still not guaranteed that your site name will come up correctly in Google SERPs since it’s solely decided by Google what they found relevant and user-friendly and which one they want to show.

Also even after connecting to Rank math it doesn’t show analytics data.

For initial troubleshooting, please follow the steps mentioned in this guideline and see if that works for you: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/

Meta titles are not updated on google.

We checked your homepage and we can see Google is showing the correct meta title on SERPs. Please check the screenshot in the sensitive data section for reference.

However, powadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta title for your search query result. Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you for your reply. It seems that I have done all the steps to ensure my site name appears instead of URL. Can you help me further in regards to how it can be solved?

Also, when I inspect my URL on GSC, it shows that there is no structured data on it. However, when I go to Google Rich results, it shows saying 4 rich results detected.
