When I deactivate it, I see meta title and meta description in the Editor.

Ok, so I see the problem here. In the video, you just tested if it’s working or not. The thing is sure working. My concern is more about the Yoast Meta and title not getting imported or showing up when I edit the post through the classic editor. See the original post. It has screenshots.

The screenshot shows a JS error on your end and that might be coming either from your theme or one of the plugins.
Please record a video screencast of the process and add that in the sensitive data section. You can use a tool like Loom.

I get this message when I activate the Rank Math plugin when Troubleshooting mode is on via Site Health:
When enabling the plugin, seo-by-rank-math, a site failure occurred. Because of this the change was automatically reverted.
