Nofollow External Links not working

1. Enable Nofollow External Links: Ensure that the Nofollow External Links option is enabled in your Rank Math settings. You can find this under Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Links.
   

2. Nofollow Domains Field: Check if you have added the specific domains in the Nofollow Domains field. If this field is blank, all external links will be set to nofollow by default. Make sure to add one domain per line if you have multiple domains.
   

3. Check for Conflicting Settings: If you have other settings or plugins that might be affecting link attributes, ensure they are not conflicting with Rank Math’s settings.

4. Variations of Domain URL: Remember that a domain can have multiple variations (e.g., example.com, www.example.com, `https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/). Ensure you account for these variations when adding domains to the Nofollow list.

Please note that our plugin’s feature to add nofollow attributes to your external links will not work on icons/header/footer links as that option is only intended for links that are inserted in your post content directly, specifically WordPress the_content.
