Redirects not working then working

My issue is somewhat resolved. I am reporting to let others and the devs know.

ISSUE: I was getting errors trying to access my webpages saying that there were “too many redirects”

-I first checked to see if any pages had more than one redirect. Some did, so i fixed it but the page still gave the same error “too many redirects”
-Next, I went into my staging websites, which there were a few, and disabled any redirects that I had set up there. The staging site areas on the backend but can be accessed publicly. This still did not fix the error
-Lastly, after rechecking my previous solutions, i disabled and re-activated the plugin and then everything started to work. So i don’t exactly know what happened. but that solved it.

A final point. When I went live with my website on Monday, i checked all of my pages and they all worked fine. So i seems like this issue happened on its own. I would like to know why it’s happening though because i don’t want to have to worry about whether or not my redirects will just stop working
