Unfortunately I’ve already followed the advice on this page and the tag og:image doesn’t appear in the html code of the page, even though I’ve defined an image by default.

We have asked since the image you’re using should be as close as 1200 x 630 pixels, and the image file format you are using is only between jpeg, gif, or png as per Opengraph Standards:
