    I’ve just switched over from Yoast and, overall, I’m loving RankMath. But I was disappointed to discover that the SEO description can’t be edited; it must consist of the regular post excerpt. The SEO title and SEO slug seem to be separately editable, and that’s good, but I don’t understand why the description, then, is not.

    Sorry for the issue you are facing.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    I’m not sure what the problem was, but it seems to have been a glitch because it’s working now. Sorry for bothering you! (Being new to the plugin, I’d just assumed it was MADE that way and didn’t realize it was not behaving normally.)
