Unable to Activate Analytics

    Hi RankMath Team,

    I’m trying to switch from Yoast to RankMath and so far I am stuck at trying to activate the analytics side. When I try to connect my account with Google search console, I keep getting ‘This page could not be found’ error when I click Activate now. Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue? Please let me know if you need any info you would like me to provide. Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    For troubleshooting, please check if there’s some security rule inside your .htaccess file that may prevent saving the settings.

    You can also use the default .htaccess file from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before modifying your .htaccess as it is a sensitive file.

    You may also check if your website has the ModSec (ModSecurity) feature enabled on your server as it can block some bots from accessing your site.
