Error trying to connect Google Search Console

    Hello, I have recently installed RankMath on my WordPress site and I get an error when I try and connect Google Search Console.

    It says Google error 403, and that I dont have access to that page. Can provide screenshots.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please make sure you’re using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin on your website: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/

    After that, please check if there’s some security rule inside your .htaccess file which may prevent saving the settings.

    You can also use the default .htaccess file from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before modifying your .htaccess as it is a sensitive file.

    If the issue persists, you can follow this guideline to check if any of your plugins/themes are conflicting with Rank Math: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
