    ❌ Plugin Activation Error
    There was an error while trying to activate the plugin on your site. Please check the following:

    The “Site URL” and “Home URL” settings in your WordPress General Settings are set to the same URL.
    Make sure to use the same URL when connecting your site.
    Try our troubleshooting guide to resolve the issue.
    If you are still having issues, please contact our support team.

    So I am getting the above error, When I go to General>settings I do not see the 2 boxes that should have Rankmath.local in them.

    I am working with a multisite word press that have 5 sites running off the main URL and using sub-domains

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    To change your Site URL and Home URL settings, you’ll have to contact your hosting provider.

    However, we have another workaround that bypasses those settings from our connection process.

    Please apply the following filter code: 

    /**
 * Filter whether we need to check for URL mismatch or not.
 */
add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );

    You may refer to this guide on how to add filters to your website: https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    After that, reconnect your Rank Math plugin to your Rank Math account. To do that, navigate to your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Dashboard > Help, disconnect and reconnect your Rank Math account.
