Hello all,
I am having a problem with ahref’s site audit.
When I run the audit, I’m always getting canonical URL is missing.
But when I check the said page source code, I am able to view link rel=canonical tag.
URL is: worldinsport.com
Any help is appreciated!

It seems like some plugin or your theme is generating relative URLs instead of absolute URLs. This is a relative URL:
It should be like:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://rankmath.com/" />Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

I’ve checked the source code for the homepage and on my browser, which is chrome, it says: link rel=”canonical” href=”https://worldinsport.com/”

When this plugin is activated canonical is:
<link rel=”canonical” href=”//worldinsport.com” />When this plugin is de-activated canonical is:
<link rel=”canonical” href=”https://worldinsport.com” />The plugin is currently de-activated if you want to check if the problem is corrected on your end?
