Descriptions for SERP snippets

    Hi,
Iʻm using Rank Math SEO on my WordPress website. Iʻve edited and filled in the “snippet” descriptions for each page on my site, but they are not showing up in Google search results. I see the layout of all my pages in the search results, but the descriptions show “logo”, my phone number, and email address. How do I change this in Rank Math to correctly display the relevant descriptions for each page in SERP?

(Google search: Huakai Creative – the search results show the erroneous descriptions Iʻm talking about).

    Thank you,
    Chris Yoakum

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

You can verify the title and description of your page by using these tools to ensure that they are already set:
    https://heymeta.com
    https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/

If they are already set in the page’s source code, please note that Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

Moreover, the best you can do is optimize your meta title and description to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.
