    Hello,
    I’m experiencing an issue with my multilingual sitemap where Rank Math is mixing French and English URLs in the same sitemap. Here are the details:
    Current setup:

    WordPress with Polylang for multilingual management
    Rank Math SEO for sitemap generation
    Using language prefix in URLs (/fr/ for French, /en/ for English)

    Issue:
    The sitemap at sitemap_index.xml displays both French and English URLs mixed together instead of separating them by language. For example, it shows:

    ice-bath-chiller.com/fr/bienfaits-bain-froid-quotidien/
    ice-bath-chiller.com/cold-bath-contraindications-medical-checklist/
    ice-bath-chiller.com/fr/bienfaits-physiologiques-ice-bath/

    What I’ve already tried:

    Added the recommended compatibility files:

    rank-math-ppl.php
    rank-math.php in my theme folder

    Cleared Rank Math cache
    Regenerated sitemaps
    Updated .htaccess

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

    Unfortunately, to achieve this you would need to rewrite the compatibility layer we have created for Polylang, and at the moment that is not a possibility.

    Our team decided to include all the languages in the sitemap when creating this compatibility to try and improve the crawling of those languages but having separate sitemaps for each language would require substantial development work done on the compatibility we created.
