Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If you are not seeing updated data in your analytics, you need to fetch fresh data from Google. This is a simple process that you can do by following the steps below:
1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Tools & Status > Database Tools and click the
Rebuild Index
button. This is the first process before you will update the data manually.Ensure that you have enabled advanced mode to see the Database Tools tab.
2. After that, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, click the
Delete Data
button and then click theUpdate Data Manually
3. This will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.
4. Once the process is complete. Please re-check the Analytics page and all the data should be showing up correctly.
Following the above steps should fix the issue.
You can refer to this guide for reference: https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-search-traffic-error/
However, if it does not, please check if there is a pending Scheduled Action by heading over to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending or you can try visiting the following URL:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending
Then Run the
rank_math/analytics/data_fetch
scheduled action and wait for the data fetch to complete. This is how it should look like:
Once done, please allow Rank Math a while to fetch data from Google and you should be able to see the updated data.
You might see other actions that are scheduled to RUN as well, it is quite normal and you don’t have to worry.
Let us know how that goes.
Thank you.
Thanks, will this schedule it to run constantly as I pull analytics once a week?
Hello,
Yes, it should fetch the data every week.
If the issue persists, please check if the Cron jobs on your website are working properly.
You can install the WP Crontrol plugin and navigate to WP Dashboard > Tools > Cron Events to make sure that the Cron Jobs is working fine on your site.
If you have any issues with the Cron jobs, please contact your hosting provider to fix this.
For more details, you can check this guide:

Ah, I see this is through rankmath. I was pulling reports from Google Analytics directly which I would like to continue doing but something has broken that. Is this something I would need to fix separately? I don’t suppose ‘Instant Indexing’ could be responsible for this as well could it?
Hello,
Rank Math’s Analytics module fetches data from Google Analytics and does not interfere with the direct functionality of your GA account. If you’re experiencing issues with pulling reports directly from Google Analytics, this would need to be addressed within your GA setup.
The Instant Indexing feature does not affect Google Analytics functionality or data tracking. We recommend:
1. Verifying that your GA tracking ID is implemented correctly on your site.
2. Checking your Google Analytics account settings to ensure data is being collected. If you continue to face issues, it may be worth consulting Google Analytics support for assistance.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.
OK, thanks for getting back to me
