    Hi Team,

I have two questions regarding Job Schema which is enabled for my Custom Post type. I am using JetEngine and Elementor to achieve required functionality using meta fields which is functionality provided by JetEngine tools.

    1. Meta description is not getting picked by RankMath in Job Posting Schema or post. Please note that, I am using Meta Fields to generate content and not using WordPress editor directly. Link to review is provided in Sensitive data.

    2. How Schema Markup for Job posting is working in Rankmath? When I click to edit Schema, I am not seeing thing which I can configure or change. Is it picking everything by design or I can edit required fields by any indirect way?

See this there is nothing which I can click and change something with existing attached schema -> https://prnt.sc/uwtpod

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    1. Since your content is added through meta fields, Rank math is unable to generate an excerpt automatically, you will need to add the meta description manually on your posts as shown below:
Add a Meta Description in Classic Editor:

Add title and description in Gutenberg:

    2. Which version of Rank math are you using? Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Please let us know if you find the culprit.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi Team,

I tried to troubleshoot plugin conflict, if any. but behavior seems to be same with only Rankmath enabled website (no theme, additional plugins were activated)

Still I have delete attached schema (since It is not allowing me to edit) and have attach same Jobposting schema.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.
