    hey
    I have this message on the site – what does it mean?
    I made a lot of changes to the site in the last month – how do I get an up-to-date sitemap?

    “Since you are using an NGINX server, you may need to add the following code to your NGINX configuration file if your sitemap pages are not loading. If you are not sure how to do this, please contact your vendor your storage.”

    Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

    This is just a message with the instructions in case your sitemap doesn’t work properly. If your sitemap is loading properly at /sitemap_index.xml you can simply ignore this.

    However, Rank Math automatically updates your sitemap whenever you publish/update any page on your website. If you see the sitemap is not updating, you can follow the steps below to clear your sitemap cache:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Is it worthwhile to include in the sitemap Lirandash courses and classes that are only available for those who are connected to the site?

    Hello,

    You should only include URLs to your sitemap that you want to index on Google. If the pages are not accessible for all and Google also cannot access them, you shouldn’t include the pages in your sitemap.
