I don’t know what this is? But something going horrible with my site and after seeing this I totally got afraid. The problem is that, when I am searching for my site, homepage is appearing with good title but site description is written as “6 days ago — Password recovery. Recover your password. your email. A password will be e-mailed to you. ExampleSite.com · category-1 · category-2 …
You’ve visited this page 2 times. Last visit: 6/10/20″. I have already changed my site meta title and description. The question is not that, why my site title and meta description not showing in SERP, instead Google is showing something about password recovery. Is there is something wrong with my site? What is mean by password protection in search description? Is Google indexing the things inside my site’s dashboard? Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I checked your site on Google but I couldn’t replicate the issue, please check the screenshot I have added in the sensitive section and let us know.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Ok, my website is now showing meta title and meta description provided by me. But what was that before? Is there is any information leaking from dashboard of my site? Is there is any wrong things or any loophole?
Hello,
Without replicating the issue, we can’t really determine the cause
I would however recommend having a security plugin such as WordFence on your site to make sure your site is secured from malicious attacks or any other security issues. You should also ensure your host is secure all the same.
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
