    Rank Math free

hello. I don’t know if you know anything about this issue. I installed WordPress – Generate Press – RankMath and wrote an article called A.
When I search for A, the post title A does not appear. Is it supposed to be the site title on the top left of the Generate Press theme? Assuming it is B, only ‘B -‘ is displayed in the search results. I’m really amazed. I had this problem before on another site, and even when I created a new site and tried it, it happened again.
In other words, when you search for the keyword ‘A’, it is displayed as ‘(WP Theme Site Title) B -‘ and post A is not exposed.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your search results. It sounds like there may be a few factors at play here regarding how your site title and post titles are being displayed in search results.

    1. Site Title vs. Post Title: The site title (which is set in your WordPress settings) is often displayed in search results along with the post title. If your site title is set to "B", it will appear as "B – A" in search results if the post title is correctly configured.

    2. Homepage Settings: Ensure that your homepage settings are correctly configured. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading and check how your homepage is set to display. If it’s set to display a static page, make sure that the page you have selected has the correct title.

    3. Meta Title Configuration: You can customize the meta title for your posts using Rank Math. Make sure that the meta title for your post "A" is set correctly. You can do this by editing the post and checking the Rank Math settings below the post editor.

    4. Search Engine Indexing: Sometimes, it may take time for search engines to index new content. Ensure that your site is not set to discourage search engines from indexing it. You can check this in Settings → Reading and ensure that the box for "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" is unchecked.

    5. Structured Data: If you have Rank Math installed, ensure that the Schema module is enabled, as this helps search engines understand your content better. You can enable it by going to Rank Math SEO → Dashboard and activating the Schema module.

If you have checked all these settings and are still facing issues, we recommend replying to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!

The problem is still not resolved. help. please

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We need some actual examples from your website so we can replicate this issue. Are you able to share the affected post URLs here so we can take a closer look from our end?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We confirmed that our plugin is adding the correct title and description that you have set in the snippet editor of our plugin. You can confirm that with this tool: https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/

However, Google can choose to display a different title and description. It is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend:

Please check the KB and you will understand the reasons Google does this:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. We have covered this Google update here:

    Google Title Rewrite Update: https://rankmath.com/google-update/google-title-rewrite-update/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

So what are you telling me to do? Does this mean that I should just stay quiet because Google does this sometimes?

    Hello,

Can you please share a screenshot of the result you’re getting from Google? I was unable to replicate this. I Googled the keyword you specified and the affected page did not rank nor does any other page from your website, except an image. Sharing a screenshot of the issue with us will help us understand what’s going on.

You can share images with us by uploading them to an image hosting site like Imgur, and then sharing the generated URL with us here.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
