Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the autoloaded options on your website. Having a high number of autoloaded options can indeed impact your site’s performance. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:
-
Review Autoloaded Options: You can access your WordPress database using a tool like phpMyAdmin. Look for the wp_options table and filter for options where the autoload column is set to yes. This will show you all the autoloaded options.
-
Identify Unused Options: Go through the list and identify any options that are no longer needed or are related to plugins or themes that you have deactivated or uninstalled.
-
Delete Unnecessary Options: Once you have identified the unnecessary options, you can delete them directly from the database. Be cautious while doing this, as removing essential options can cause issues with your site.
-
Optimize Database: After cleaning up the autoloaded options, consider optimizing your database to improve performance. You can use plugins like WP-Optimize or WP-Sweep to help with this.
-
Monitor Performance: After making these changes, monitor your site’s performance to see if there is an improvement.
If you’re not comfortable making these changes yourself, we recommend reaching out to a developer or a professional who can assist you with this process.
Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope this helps improve your site’s performance!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.
When you create a new option in WordPress, the default is to have it autoloaded, as you can see from this function here: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_option/
We don’t change that default behavior with our options, and the size of our options is not so big that it could cause any performance issues by being autoloaded.
You can change the autoload option, but the default behavior will return on your website as soon as that option is regenerated.
However, regularly optimizing your database can help reduce overhead. You can use plugins like WP-Optimize or WP-Sweep to clean up your database, including removing unnecessary autoloaded options.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thak you so much Ike … realy helpfull!!!

I’m so sorry but the problem is not solved. I also tried to downoload the plug-in you suggested WP-Optimize and WP-Sweep but the system said there is another plug in in contrast that I use (WP-ROCKET.
I also noticed another problem that resides in the site header in 2 menu items (Il Blog + Video )
Thank you for your help
Hello,
Since you use WP-Rocket on your site, you should use its options to optimize your database instead. Those plugins are close substitutes, so you shouldn’t install more than a single optimization plugin on your WordPress site.
Please refer to these articles on how to optimize your database using WP-Rocket:

We hope this helps.
Thanks.
