Rank Math Issue

    Rank Math free

    Hi

    I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding an issue I have been experiencing with the Rank Math plugin on my wordPress site which is https://lrapp.net/

    Recently, I noticed that my site’s SEO performance has declined, and I suspect it may be related to the settings in Rank Math. Specifically, I am having trouble with the following:

    1. Sitemap Generation: My sitemap is not updating as expected. I have tried regenerating it multiple times, but the changes I make to my posts and pages are not reflected in the sitemap.

    2. SEO Analysis: The SEO analysis feature seems to be providing inconsistent results. For instance, it flags certain keywords as not being used effectively, even though they are present in the content.

    3. Plugin Conflicts: I have deactivated other plugins to troubleshoot potential conflicts, but the issues persist. I would appreciate any guidance on how to further diagnose this problem.

    I have already performed a health check using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and confirmed that the issue occurs even when only Rank Math and the default theme are active.

    Could you please provide assistance in resolving these issues? Any insights or steps you can suggest would be greatly appreciated, as I am genuinely concerned about my site’s performance and user experience.

  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issues you are facing with the Rank Math plugin on your WordPress site. Thank you for providing detailed information about the problems you’re experiencing. Let’s address each of your concerns:

    1. Sitemap Generation

    If your sitemap is not updating as expected, please ensure that you are submitting the correct XML sitemap to Google. The correct URL should be `https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-automatic-update-unavailable-for-this-plugin/#unable-to-encrypt. If you have confirmed that you are submitting the right URL but still face issues, consider checking for plugin conflicts using the Health Check plugin. Additionally, if you are using caching plugins, ensure they are configured correctly to allow Rank Math to generate the sitemap properly.

    2. SEO Analysis

    For the SEO analysis feature providing inconsistent results, it may help to ensure that you have the latest version of Rank Math installed. You can check for updates in your WordPress Dashboard under Plugins → Installed Plugins. If everything is up to date and the issue persists, it might be beneficial to clear any caching on your site and re-run the analysis.

    3. Plugin Conflicts

    Since you’ve already performed a health check and confirmed that the issue occurs even with only Rank Math and the default theme active, we recommend checking if there are any specific settings within Rank Math that might need adjustment. You can also refer to our troubleshooting guide for further steps.

    If these suggestions do not resolve your issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and assist you further.

    Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you resolve these issues!

    I did the aboce steps still my new pages are not getting crawled & indexed! They don’t appear in sitemap.xml as well.

    Hello,

    In this case, please follow these steps to flush your sitemap cache:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Disable the transient cache for the sitemap by applying this filter. This will make sure that your XML sitemap always reflects the latest changes on your site:

    /**
     * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
     *
     * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
     */
    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    If you’re not sure how to add this code, you can follow this guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    Once done, remove your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only /sitemap_index.xml in your Google Search Console.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    I am following the above mentioned methods, still I am facing the same issue!
