First up, thank you for your valuable SEO plugin, it is a great resource.

I have a client who would like to remove the Googlemap from their contact page where I’m using your

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday09:00 – 17:00

shortcode. I would like to continue including the latitude and longitude data in the

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday09:00 – 17:00

shortcode but not include the actual embedded Google Map. So it would be fantastic if we were able to enter parameters into the

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday09:00 – 17:00

shortcode to exclude items from the output of the shortcode (but still include the data within the Schema JSON data). There have been instances before where it would be great to use this shortcode but I hadn’t wanted to include the map or opening hours for example. Any chance of including that? Obviously the shortcode without the parameters would continue to function as-is.

Apologies if this is already covered, I did use the search based on the shortcode but couldn’t see an answer in the results.

  • Hello,

We are sorry but we do not have that option. You can skip adding the Local SEO tags altogether if you do not want those tags to be present on your pages.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hi Uzair, thanks for getting back to me. I have tried removing the latitude and longitude values (and setting them to 0) from the Local SEO settings, neither of which removed the Google map for the shortcode output, please help?

    Cheers,
    Jamie

    Hello Jamie,

That is quite not expected. The shortcode should only show data you have added in your settings. Have you tried clearing your cache and resaving your settings?

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
