Rank Math doesn’t update the meta title redirect e.t.c

We apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math not saving your meta titles and redirects. It seems like you’ve already taken steps to configure Cloudflare, which is great. However, there are a few additional things you can check to ensure that Rank Math can update the metadata properly:

1. Whitelist Rank Math Files: Make sure that the necessary Rank Math files are whitelisted in Cloudflare. You can do this by creating page rules for the following URLs:

   • *example.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta*
   • *example.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas*
   • *example.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection*
   • *example.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/getFeaturedImageId*
   • *example.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/getHead*
     Replace example.com with your actual domain name.

   

2. Disable Security: In the settings for each page rule, ensure you select Disable security to allow Rank Math to function without restrictions.

   

3. Check Firewall/Security Plugins: If you are using any firewall or security plugins (like Wordfence), ensure that they are not blocking access to Rank Math’s files. You may need to whitelist these files in those plugins as well.

4. Save Changes: Remember that changes in Rank Math do not save automatically. After making changes, ensure you click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the settings page.

   

5. 403 Errors: If you are still encountering issues, check if any of the Rank Math files are returning a 403 error. If so, you may need to contact your web host for assistance.

You need to make sure that the redirection you have which is adding the trailing slash to all URLs is not adding that to the REST API routes on your website under the prefix wp-json.
