Problem with redirections in WPML language folders

#90011
  • Hi guys,

I have a strange problem. I use folders for the languages made with WPML. “de” for german and “en” for english. When I now make a german redirection, the “de” folder is not shown in the list, but is linked correctly. When I make an english redirection, the folder “en” is shown in the list but is linked to the “de” directory and the redirections are not working.

    Examples:
Redirection from /de/services-elektromobilitaet/carbon-compensation/ is shown in the list as /services-elektromobilitaet/carbon-compensation/ but linked correctly.

Redirection from /en/contactsection/contact-support/ is shown correctly in the list but linked to /de/contactsection/contact-support/ and is not working

    Please have a look!

    Best regards
    Andy

    Hello,

I checked your site and I was able to replicate the issue. I tried to use the health check plugin to troubleshoot this issue on your site but it didn’t function well and your plugins ended up disabled. I enabled them back, please check to confirm all is set up accordingly.

We might have to look into the issue by disabling your plugins and making some changes to your site. To avoid having adverse effects on your production site, please create a testing/staging site and share the access so we can dig further into this.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
