Words in the FAQ section don’t count

    I use the “Astra” theme and the “Spectra” plug-in. The content in the FAQ section does not affect the word count shown by rankmath.

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the FAQ section not affecting the word count shown by Rank Math. The FAQ content is typically treated differently in terms of SEO metrics, and it may not be included in the overall word count that Rank Math displays.

    If you are using the FAQ Block from Rank Math, it should automatically add the corresponding FAQ Schema, but it might not contribute to the word count as expected. This behavior can sometimes depend on how themes and plugins interact with each other.

    We recommend checking if there are any settings in the Astra theme or Spectra plugin that might affect how content is counted or displayed. If the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    Although Astra is compatible with Rank Math, the plugin wasn’t able to recognize the custom blocks from Spectra. By default, our plugin can’t recognize custom templates, shortcodes, and other non-compatible page/content builders.

    Even for the content analysis tests, we have added API access to the content analysis in Rank Math to make content from the custom templates that aren’t supported by Rank Math yet.

    Please note that this should not affect your overall SEO performance as this issue is only happening on the backend.
