Adding metadescription to a fixed homepage (wordpress)

    Hi,

    As indicated by the title my site has a fixed homepage. The RankMath SEO analysis states no meta description is showing. I followed the instructions (perhaps wrongly) for adding a meta description but when I saved it the fixed homepage disappeared and was replaced by a different version of the theme I use. I can’t work out where I went wrong?

    Could you please confirm if you have changed your home in WordPress > Settings > Reading?

    You can record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the issue and share the generated link here.

    For images, you can use any free online tool like https://prnt.sc/ or https://imgbb.com/
