ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    Hello,

I installed and configured your plugin today. I followed a tutorial video and did exactly what was shown in the tutorial. I also tried to resolve the issue on my own by searching online and on your forum, as I understand that this redirection loop is a common problem.

You can find my site here: https://www.cuadernonomada.com. If you try to navigate anywhere, you’ll see that it’s not possible, and you’ll receive the mentioned error.

I want to clarify that I haven’t added any redirects in the RankMath SEO plugin; all redirections are managed through the Customizer (specifically under Customize > Menu). All the URLs are correct, as they work when I disable your plugin.

I’ve also tried to debug but unfortunately the debugging it’s not stopping before the redirect.

    I’ve tried the following steps:

    1) Cleared my browser cache, cookies, and data.
    2) Cleared my LiteSpeed Cache from my WP Dashboard (although I currently have this plugin disabled).
    3) Checked that my WP Address and Site Address (URL) were the same (they were).
Additionally, I didn’t migrate my site, so that’s definitely not the issue.

I’m looking forward to your response.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nicolò

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error on your site. This can indeed be frustrating, especially after following a tutorial and ensuring that your URLs are correct.

Since you mentioned that you haven’t added any redirects in the Rank Math SEO plugin and that the issue resolves when the plugin is disabled, it suggests that there might be a conflict or misconfiguration somewhere.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Existing Redirect Rules: Go to Rank Math SEO → Redirections in your WordPress dashboard and review any existing redirect rules. Ensure that none of them are causing a loop by pointing to each other.

    2. Review Theme and Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, conflicts between plugins or themes can lead to unexpected redirects. You can perform a quick conflict check by enabling Troubleshooting mode and disabling Rank Math temporarily to see if the issue persists. If it does not, try disabling other plugins one by one to identify the culprit.

    3. Check Site URL Settings: Ensure that your WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) settings under Settings → General are correctly configured. They should match the version of your site you want to use (www or non-www).

    4. Debugging Redirection: You can also use Rank Math’s debug redirection feature to help identify where the redirection is occurring. This can provide insights into what might be causing the loop.

If after trying these steps the issue still persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for your patience, and we hope to resolve this for you soon!
