Hello,
I have a problem deleting redirections, I delete them and then they don’t delete and just stay there.
I can deactivate them but when I trash them they come back.Thank you for your feedback

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
That is quite weird. We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I tried it but I was able to create and remove a test redirection without any issue, as I show you in the screencast I shared in the Sensitive Data section. Could you take a look at it?
Looking forward to help you.
Hello, here is a screencast that shows me deleting a redirection then refreshing the screen and it coming back again. The only way I can delete them is to deactivate them first and then trash
Hello,
The Redirection is actually being trashed. The only reason it shows up is because you are using the search option which gets all redirections related to the search term including those trashed. Please check the screencast I have added in the sensitive section.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
It still seems to me that there’s a problem with deleting redirections. I can delete them by deactivating them first but when I trash them they seem to reappear. I don’t understand your previous explanation about the filter.
Hello,
Did you check the NEW screencast I added in the sensitive section?
To confirm the redirection is being deleted or not try the following:
1. Create a test redirection to any of your post URLs and test it to make sure it redirects to the set URL
2. Head to Rank math redirection and trash the redirection now.
3. You can then use the search option to search for the specific redirection. Click on the URL and see if it still redirects. If it does redirect as previously set, which it shouldn’t, let us know
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I updated the sensitive data with a further video of deleting a redirection and it persisting after deletion
Hello,
You can still search for the deleted redirect because it is in the trash. Please check the screencast I shared in the sensitive data section that shows the test redirect not showing up in the search after it has been removed from the trash as well.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Okay, I get it now thank you. You need to empty the trash. However, could you make the behaviour consistent with deactivating? When I deactivate a redirection, it greys out. That’s what threw me. Could you make a deleted redirection greyed out too?
