    Hi Team,

    Noticed a while back that my 404 Monitor tool isn’t collecting data, and its been like this now for over a year.

    I had to use another plugin AIOS to do this for me. It just made sense for me to try and see why Rank Math wasn’t working and it looks as though another user had a similar issue. check link: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/issue-with-404-monitor-not-tracking-data/

    The funny thing is that changing the code to $this->action(‘template_redirect’, ‘capture_404’ ); that is recommended makes this work again until I update your plugin.

    My question is. Why is $this->action( $this->get_hook(), ‘capture_404’ ); not working and how do I get this to work?

    I have tried everything. Uninstalling, re-building the database for the plugin under settings and all other methods that you would assume would get this to work again.

    Is this something that can be fixed in the database, and if so please do share this so I can get it working again. I know it works but only when using the fix from the link shared.

    Hello,

    Currently, there is no permanent fix for this. Our devs are working on this, and you can keep an eye on our changelog to get notified once an update with the fix for this is available: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

    For now, you will have to manually make changes to the plugin files after each update.

    Hi Reinelle,

    Thank you for getting back to me. Luckily it only effects one site out of my list – poppysigns.co.uk

    All other sites seem to be monitoring the 404 data and displaying it correctly for me.
