Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap. It seems like there might be a configuration issue with your sitemap settings in Rank Math. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this problem:
1. Validate Your Sitemap
Make sure your sitemap is correctly configured. You can validate it using the Validate XML Sitemap tool. If there are any issues, the tool will provide feedback.
2. Check Sitemap Location
Ensure that your sitemap is located in the root folder of your WordPress installation. The correct URL should look like this:
3. Ensure Posts Are Set to Index
If all your posts are set to noindex, your sitemap will appear empty. To check this, go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and ensure that the Index checkbox is enabled for your posts.

4. Check for Custom Canonicals
If you have set custom canonical URLs for your posts, they may not appear in the sitemap. Consider removing these custom canonicals to allow Rank Math to generate them automatically.
5. Review robots.txt File
Make sure that your robots.txt file is not blocking access to your sitemap. You can check this in Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.
6. Address the "loc" Entry Error
For the error related to the "loc" entry in your post sitemap, ensure that all URLs listed in your sitemap are valid and accessible. You may need to check the specific entries causing the error.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with any specific error messages or details from the images you provided, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern! We’re here to help you get it sorted out.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
Once done, clear your website cache, remove all the submitted sitemap, and resubmit only the /sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.

Hello,
In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
