  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the NoIndex setting for paginated pages. It seems that you have followed the correct steps to enable the "Noindex Paginated Single Pages" option in Rank Math, but the changes are not reflecting as expected.

Here are a few things you can check:

    1. Clear Cache: If you are using any caching plugins, make sure to clear the cache after making changes in Rank Math settings. Sometimes, cached versions of your pages may still show the old meta tags.
    2. Check Other Plugins: Ensure that no other SEO plugins or settings are conflicting with Rank Math’s settings. If you have any other SEO-related plugins active, they might override Rank Math’s settings.
    3. Revisit Settings: Double-check that the setting is indeed enabled by going to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Misc. Pages and confirming that the "Noindex Paginated Single Pages" option is checked.
    4. Inspect Page Source: You can also inspect the page source directly (right-click on the page and select "View Page Source") to see if the noindex tag is present in the HTML.

If after checking these points the issue persists, we recommend replying to this ticket. A human agent from the Rank Math Support team will be able to assist you further and investigate the issue more closely.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it!

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I have already enabled both options. The paginated pages are set to “noindex, follow,” but my canonical URL is not defined.

Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you

Hi, I need to check my website, so I have removed the sensitive data. Once I’m done, I will get back to you. Thank you.

    Hello,

Please note that if you set the robots meta tag to noindex, search engines will not index the page, but they will still follow the links on it. In this case, the canonical tag will not be useful because the page won’t be indexed. Canonical tags are used to indicate the preferred version of a page when there are multiple similar or duplicate pages, but they only come into play if the page is indexed. This is the reason why we remove canonical tags if a page is set to noindex

We checked your page and the correct robots meta is already set:
