According to Google’s News Sitemap Guidelines, only posts published in the last 2 days should be included in the news sitemap. Rank Math automatically updates the sitemap with new posts as soon as they are published, but there are a few things to check:

Ensure the News Sitemap Module is Enabled: Make sure that both the Sitemap and News Sitemap modules are enabled in Rank Math. You can check this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Dashboard.

Check Post Types: Verify that the post types you want to include in the news sitemap are selected in the settings. You can find this under Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings → News Sitemap.

Update Your Posts: If you have made changes to your posts or added new ones, ensure that you save or update them. This will help in reflecting the changes in the sitemap.

Sitemap URL: The URL of your news sitemap should be accessible and correctly formatted. You can find it under the News Sitemap settings, but it is not editable.

Upon closer inspection, I found that google news is not indexing my news at all, even when I am adding an article almost every hour. I want to know that if I have a free plan, then is it possible that this free plugin may also be the cause of it.

Your account only has a Free subscription and that email address doesn’t have any paid subscription and never had one.
If you have access to the News sitemap on your website it’s either because an agency installed the plugin or you are using a nulled version of the plugin which prevents us from providing support.
If that was installed via an Agency please share the website address with us so we can check if it’s connected to a valid license, otherwise, we cannot provide support for this.

1. The sitemap is updated automatically each time there’s an update or a new item created on the website that should be added to the sitemap. This works the same in the Free and PRO plugins.
2. Yes, you can add Schema markup but with some limitations. You can only add one type per page/post and you don’t have access to the Advanced Schema Generator to modify or add additional properties.
