    Good Afternoon

I have installed and set up the Instant indexing plugin as required on my site justaveragejen.com and submitted articles to it however they have not been indexed or crawled by Google after a week. The latest crawled date is the same on each of the articles.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Instant Indexing feature not indexing your articles. It’s important to note that while the Instant Indexing plugin can help speed up the process, Google may still take some time to index new content, especially if your site is relatively new or has a lower domain authority.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Your Robots.txt File: Ensure that your robots.txt file is not blocking Google from crawling your site. You can use the robots.txt testing tool to verify this.
    2. Verify Instant Indexing Setup: Double-check that the Instant Indexing plugin is correctly configured and that you are using the correct settings to submit your URLs.
    3. Monitor Google Search Console: Keep an eye on Google Search Console for any errors or issues related to indexing. It can provide insights into why your pages might not be indexed.
    4. Wait for Google: Sometimes, it may take longer than expected for Google to index content, even with the Instant Indexing feature. It’s not uncommon for it to take a week or more.

If you continue to experience issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we’re here to help!

    Hello,

Please share the affected URL so we can check it as well.

Meanwhile, please note that Instant Indexing helps your website’s pages and content to be crawled instantly. But, using Instant Indexing does not always result in the indexation of the content as it may take anywhere from minutes to days or even weeks before a URL is indexed.

It doesn’t guarantee that your pages will show up in the search results, but you can still use it on your website.

Moreover, Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.

It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URLs.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Please update your Instant Indexing plugin as we have released a new update for it. After that, try manually submitting a URL you want to index and check the response from the API.

Also, please focus on your sitemap and internal linking since this is where mostly Google discovers your URLs. If they are configured correctly, it can help increase the indexing time.

    Looking forward to helping you.
