Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Could you please share your sitemap URL with us so that we can check this further for you?
Meanwhile, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you.
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/However, please note that a sitemap is just a file that helps search engines understand the structure of your website, making it easier for them to crawl and index your pages. It shouldn’t stop bots from crawling your website.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I have tried these steps to flush the cache, here is my sitemap https://techibytes.com/sitemap_index.xml
Hello,
Upon further investigation, it seems that you have set a crawl delay in your robots.txt (see screenshot below) which may disrupt how Bing will crawl your website.

Please use this robots.txt directive instead:
User-agent: * Disallow: /wp-admin/ Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Sitemap: https://techibytes.com/sitemap_index.xmlHere’s how you edit your robots.txt in the Rank Math plugin: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-with-rank-math/
Looking forward to helping you.
On looking at the sitemap submitted to bing you will find out that there is no URL discovered, this is different from every other blog there on bing.
And also, I can’t edit my rankmath robots.txt “Contents are locked because a robots.txt file is present in the root folder”
Finally accessed my root file and edited it
Hello,
Glad you are able to sort out editing the robots.txt file.
Regarding the report on Bing, please note that the 0 Discovered URLs that you see in Bing just mean that the URLs in the sitemap were already found by Bing by other means, instead of via the specific sitemap.
For example, Bingbot may have found the URLs from internal links or possibly from links on another site. It mostly happens when you have good internal linking.
In fact, it could be a good sign, as it means that you have good internal linking and that Bing does not need a sitemap to find some of your pages.
If your pages are getting indexed, you don’t have to worry about this.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I lost all traffic coming from bing and as we speak techibytes.com is not indexed on bing anymore and that as of 3 days ago is about 90% of our traffic
Hello,
When a website drops so drastically from indexing it’s because there are technical or guidelines issues on the website.
Given that the website is accessible to Googlebot and there is not a single
noindextag preventing indexing, it’s safe to assume that your website is being penalized for not following the Bing community guidelines. If your website breaches the guidelines or the content is not up to the standards of the search engine, that could explain this situation.
You will need to check on your Bing Webmaster Tools for the data in the URL Inspection, Top Insights, and other tools to see whether Bing has shown more concrete information about this situation.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
