Could you please check the following:
1. Is the sitemap working fine in your browser? You can check that by going domain(.)com/sitemap_index.xml and checking to ensure your poss are being added to the sitemap.
If the sitemap is working fine, you can try validating it on this link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html
Also make sure you have cleared the cache and excluded Google bot from seeing a cached version of your sitemap. You can do this by adding your sitemap URLs to be excluded from caching at all levels.
Once done, you can resubmit your sitemap on your GSC and if the issue persists, please share the sitemap URL with us so we ca check from our end.

When submitting it to search console of Google it says 0 discoverable urls.
Also my website is not indexing in Google .Only home page index with 2-3 posts.
Have also tried fetch as google but no benefit.

Your sitemap leads to a 404 page. Did you exclude your sitemap from all caching on your site?
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
