  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with indexing your pages. It can be frustrating when your content isn’t being indexed as expected. Here are a few potential reasons and solutions for the "Discovered – currently not indexed" status:

    1. Content Duplication Issues: Check if there are any duplicate pages on your site. If you find duplicates, consider adding a canonical URL pointing to the original content you want to index.
      Canonical URL

    2. New Website: If your website is relatively new (less than a few months), it may take some time for Google to index all pages. Patience is key in this case.

    3. Technical Problems: Ensure there are no technical issues preventing Google from crawling your site, such as robots.txt restrictions or slow load times. You can check for these issues in Google Search Console.

    4. Internal Linking: Make sure to include internal links to the pages you want indexed from other high-traffic and relevant pages on your site.

    5. Quality of Content: Ensure that your content is unique, valuable, and comprehensive. Avoid thin or duplicate content.

For more detailed guidance, you can refer to our article on how to fix indexing issues.

If you’ve checked all these aspects and are still having trouble, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please share some affected page URLs with us so that we can check them further for you?

However, please note that it is completely normal for newly published posts/pages to take time before they get crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URLs.

Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.

However, we have another Instant Indexing for Google plugin that you can use to get your website’s pages and content crawled immediately: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
