Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with submitting a redirect request using the Source URL match type "Exact". Thank you for raising this concern.
-
Regarding the issue with the 404 Monitor not saving your redirect requests, this could be due to various reasons such as caching issues or conflicts with other plugins. We recommend checking if there are any caching plugins active and clearing the cache to see if that resolves the issue.
-
As for the problem with the "Exact" match type not working while the "Contains" match type does, please ensure that the URL you are trying to redirect matches exactly with the Source URL you have entered. Even a slight difference in characters (like trailing slashes or case sensitivity) can cause the redirect to fail. You might also want to check the Ignore Case checkbox if applicable.
If these suggestions do not resolve your issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will overtake the ticket and assist you further.
Thank you for your understanding!
