Temporary processing error in CSC sitemap even for already indexed articles

    Hi,
    I am facing this temporary processing error in my sitemap. The strange thing is that the referring page URL for the newly indexed articles is the link for some other article. How is that even possible. I have already excluded the sitemap URLs from caching. I have also tried clearing the entire cache using lite speed cache

    Please help!

    Hello,

    Please note that each time Google uses a sitemap to find a URL, the count of the Discovered URLs increases by one. Sitemaps is only one of the few methods Google uses to discover your URLs, so it is fine for your articles to be referred to by other URLs on your site.

    Also, when the count of the Discovered URLs is zero or does not match your actual sitemap in your Google Search Console, it means Google didn’t use the sitemap to find the URLs.

    So what should I do in that case how this issue will be resolved or there is nothing to be done here. plus I have uploaded more blog, but the count is not updating.

    Hello,

    Kindly share a screenshot of the report from Google Search Console.

    Also, you should only submit the main sitemap (/sitemap_index.xml) to GSC.

    According to Google, the “Temporary processing error” is just an internal problem at Google. .

    As we mentioned above, sitemaps are only one of the few methods Google uses to discover your URLs.
