Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the temporary processing error in your sitemap. It sounds like there may be a few factors at play here.
-
Check Sitemap Configuration: Ensure that your sitemap is correctly configured and accessible. You can validate your sitemap using the Validate XML Sitemap tool to check for any issues.
-
Flush Cache: Even though you’ve excluded the sitemap from caching, it might be helpful to flush the cache again. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings, increasing the value of Links Per Sitemap by one, and then saving your settings. After that, go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to ensure the current settings are applied.
-
Check Robots.txt: Make sure that your robots.txt file does not have any rules blocking access to your sitemap. You can check this in Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.
-
Review Security Plugins: Sometimes, security plugins or web host restrictions can block access to the sitemap for crawlers. Ensure that your sitemap is not being blocked by any security measures.
-
Custom Canonicals: If you have set custom canonical URLs for your posts, they may not appear in the sitemap. Ensure that all posts you want indexed are set to index and do not have conflicting canonical URLs.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, we recommend replying to this ticket so a human agent from the Rank Math Support team can assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!

Hello,
Please note that each time Google uses a sitemap to find a URL, the count of the Discovered URLs increases by one. Sitemaps is only one of the few methods Google uses to discover your URLs, so it is fine for your articles to be referred to by other URLs on your site.
Also, when the count of the Discovered URLs is zero or does not match your actual sitemap in your Google Search Console, it means Google didn’t use the sitemap to find the URLs.

Looking forward to helping you.
So what should I do in that case how this issue will be resolved or there is nothing to be done here. plus I have uploaded more blog, but the count is not updating.
Hello,
Kindly share a screenshot of the report from Google Search Console.
Also, you should only submit the main sitemap (/sitemap_index.xml) to GSC.
We anticipate hearing back from you.
Thanks.
I have already added the image links in sensitive data
