  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the redirects. It seems that you have changed the slug of a post, which can lead to some URLs not being found or causing redirection issues.

To set up a redirect in Rank Math, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Rank Math dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
    2. Navigate to the Redirections section.
    3. Click on Add New to create a new redirect.
    4. In the Source URL field, enter the old slug (the URL that is not found).
    5. In the Destination URL field, enter the new slug (the updated URL).
    6. Choose the type of redirect (usually a 301 redirect is recommended for permanent changes).
    7. Save your changes.

If you are unsure about any of these steps or if you encounter any issues, we recommend using the Redirection Debugger to diagnose the problem further. You can also refer to our guide on solving redirection issues using Rank Math.

If you still need assistance, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will be happy to help you further!

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and we are sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The notice is shown when you activate the Auto Post Redirect option from WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Redirections → Auto Post Redirect, Rank Math creates an automatic redirection when you change the slug of a post. Please refer to this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-posts-after-changing-urls/

Is the Auto Post Redirect option enabled on your site? Once you enable the option to auto-redirect posts that have their permalink changed, you don’t have to do anything else from your side.

Regarding the other issue you shared, Rank Math gives an overview of the index status for a better understanding of the indexed and not-indexed pages, please refer to this article for more information: https://rankmath.com/kb/url-inspection-api-integration/#presence-on-google

Hope this helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
