Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Local SEO section in Rank Math. Since you are a SaaS company, it can be a bit tricky to fit into the Local Business schema, which is primarily designed for physical businesses.
In the Local SEO settings, you typically need to provide information such as:
- Business Type: This is where you select the type of business you are operating. For SaaS, you might consider selecting a category that closely aligns with your services, even if it’s not a perfect fit.
- Website Name: The name of your SaaS product or company.
- Description: A detailed description of your services and what your SaaS product offers.
- Opening Hours: If applicable, you can specify your support hours or availability.
Unfortunately, if the Local Business category cannot be turned off or hidden, it may lead to Google interpreting your site as a local business, which could result in rich snippets that are not relevant to your SaaS offering.
If you have further questions or need specific guidance on how to adjust these settings, please feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!

Hello,
The Local Business schema is primarily designed for businesses that have a physical location where customers can visit. However, if your business operates completely online and does not have a physical location, you can still use the Local Business schema and you can safely ignore adding the address.
If your business doesn’t have a physical address, then it’s better to focus on other types of optimization such as targeting organic keywords and can generate more leads.
Also, the Missing field ‘address’ is just a warning and the ‘address’ field is optional. If you do not want to add an address to your schema, then you can ignore the warnings in the rich results.
Looking forward to helping you.
