    Description of the Issue:

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the application of the "nofollow" attribute to internal links on your website. Thank you for providing detailed information about the problem.

Rank Math typically does not apply the "nofollow" attribute to internal links by default. However, if you have enabled the option to nofollow all external links, it should not affect internal links unless there is a specific setting or conflict causing this behavior.

To investigate further, we recommend checking the following:

    1. Link Settings: Ensure that the settings under Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Links do not have any configurations that might be affecting internal links.
    2. Noindex Settings: Verify that there are no conflicting settings under Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta that might be impacting how links are treated.
    3. Theme or Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, themes or other plugins can interfere with link attributes. Consider temporarily disabling other plugins to see if the issue persists.

If you continue to experience this issue after checking these settings, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to helping you resolve this issue!
