Double Images When Sharing On Messages

    Hey RM,

    Whenever I share the URL of my site on Messages/WhatsApp (regardless of which page), it double shares an image.

    Sometimes these are the same images, but often they are different.

    When I shut RankMath off, this issue goes away, so I know it’s an issue with the RM plug-in and I have no other SEO plug-in installed.

    Any idea what could be causing RankMath to pull two images? It’s almost like it pulls the RankMath issue, but it doesn’t shut off the native image from being shared as well.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    It seems your page is having duplicate meta which is the likely culprit of your issue. Rank math generates the required opengraph data for your pages by default. The additional opengraph meta is added by Social Snap v1.1.11 plugin. Please disable this plugin to use social meta from Rank math. If yu wish to disable Rank math social meta you can use the filter suggested here:https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#remove-opengraph-tags
