  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your URLs appearing strangely in Google search results. This can happen for a few reasons:

    1. URL Parameters: The additional parameters in your URL (like ?srsltid=...) are often added by tracking systems or plugins that monitor traffic and conversions. These parameters can sometimes confuse search engines, leading to issues with indexing and ranking.

    2. Canonical Tags: Ensure that your pages have the correct canonical tags set up. If Google sees multiple versions of the same page (with and without parameters), it may not know which one to rank.

    3. Google Algorithm Updates: Since you mentioned a drop in rankings, it’s possible that your site was affected by a recent algorithm update. Google frequently updates its algorithms, which can impact how URLs are displayed and ranked.

    4. Content Quality: If the content on the page is not deemed high-quality or relevant, it may also affect your rankings. Make sure your content is valuable and meets user intent.

For more detailed guidance, you might want to check out our article on why your website might disappear from Google search.

If you need further assistance, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and help you out.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

You can use the URL inspection tool of your GSC account to check the URL and view the referring page to make sure from where it is coming.

Once you know the referring page, you can unlink or remove it so Google won’t discover it again.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
