  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the partial errors in your sitemaps. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    To troubleshoot the sitemap issues, please consider the following steps:

    1. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Use the Health Check plugin to identify any potential conflicts with other plugins that might be affecting your sitemaps.

    2. Flush Permalinks: Sometimes, flushing permalinks can resolve sitemap issues. You can do this by going to the Permalinks settings in your WordPress dashboard and clicking Save Changes without making any modifications.

    3. Validate Your Sitemap: You can validate your sitemap using the Validate XML Sitemap tool to ensure it is correctly configured.

    4. Check Custom Canonicals: If you have set custom canonicals for your products, they may not appear in the sitemap. Ensure that all products are set to index and consider removing any custom canonicals if necessary.

    5. Review Server Configuration: If you are using an Apache or Nginx server, ensure that the appropriate rewrite rules are in place as mentioned in our documentation for Apache or Nginx.

    If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

    Thank you for your patience!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your sitemap.

    To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    • Reset your WordPress permalinks by going to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save Changes without making any changes.
    • Regenerate your sitemap by going to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and changing the Link per Sitemap to 201 or anything else and then click Save Changes. You can change it later, this is just to regenerate your sitemap. You can follow this screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
    • Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
      https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
    • To make sure your sitemap gets updated immediately, add the following code to your site:
      /**
       * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
       *
       * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
       */
      add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

      You can learn how to add this code to your website here: https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    If none of these steps resolve the issue, please let us know and provide us with your WordPress login details and FTP access in the Sensitive Data section so we can take a closer look.

    We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

    Hello, thank you for your prompt reply, has been in accordance with your method after the reset (add code to the site, the site prompts an error), the problem is still not solved, has been added to the login information to the sensitive data, I hope to assist in resolving, thank you!

    Hello,

    We would like to check this further on your website’s WP admin but it seems the user access you shared is very limited at the moment. See screenshot:

    Can you please elevate our access to admin so we can check further the issue?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Sorry, it should work now, please try again

    Hello,

    We’ve checked your sitemap, and it seems that there’s an ampersand character from your post’s image that is causing the issue.

    Please refer to the screenshots attached in the sensitive data section.

    You may try to use the actual character in your database to avoid the issue in the sitemap. If you need assistance accessing your site’s database, you may get in touch with your web host.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for your reply, I tried again yesterday and still couldn’t fix it because I don’t know anything about the code related to the website, I’ve already submitted the login information for the website database in the sensitive data section, I hope you can help me, thanks again!

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

    Please check with your hosting provider to help you with your concern as we have advised previously. You may also try removing the image from the affected post and re-uploading it with a different and standard filename that will not cause an issue with the sitemap structure.

    If that doesn’t help, or if the issue persists, we would like to check this issue now but it seems the login for your WP admin is no longer available in the Sensitive Data section. Can you please include it back so we can debug the issue further?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply, I removed the problematic links and the sitemap still opens incorrectly, please help me, thanks!

    Hello,

    It appears the issue with the images still persists:

    When we disable the Images in Sitemaps option from Rank Math SEO > Sitemap Settings > General, the sitemaps work correctly:

    Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi, is there any way to do this other than disabling the image option in the sitemap?
